Op een unieke locatie aan de rand van een monumentaal park ontwierp Rob Zeelen een volledig nieuw woonhuis, afgestemd op levensloopbestendig comfort, geborgenheid en het contact met de bosrijke terp aan de achterzijde. De woning oogt gesloten aan de voorzijde, maar opent zich met grote glaspartijen richting de tuin. Het materiaalgebruik – authentieke groevestenen, zwart aluminium en natuurlijke afwerkingen – zorgt voor een robuust en verfijnd geheel, waarin architectuur en interieur elkaar naadloos versterken.
Living by the Park. On a unique plot at the edge of a historic park, Rob Zeelen designed a completely new residence tailored to lifelong living, comfort, and a sense of security, while embracing the wooded landscape behind. The house presents a closed façade to the street but opens generously towards the garden with expansive glass walls. The material palette—authentic quarry stone, black aluminum, and natural finishes—creates a robust yet refined whole, where architecture and interior design blend seamlessly.

The house nestles into the landscape. Rough stone façades and soft planting create a strong, natural presence. Lighting and a louvered roof add an intimate atmosphere in the evening.
Duidelijke tweedeling in materialen: robuust steen voor het woonhuis, strak aluminium voor het bijgebouw. Schuifpuien verbinden interieur en tuin.

De keuken is opgebouwd uit massief Ceppo di Gré met natuurlijke Mortex vloeren, zachte wanden in LiRa Touch en verlichting van Modular. Een sculpturale en serene leefruimte.
The kitchen is crafted from solid Ceppo di Gré, with natural Mortex floors, soft LiRa Touch walls, and Modular lighting. A sculptural and serene living space.
Eyecatcher: de zwevende stalen trap met Mortex-afwerking. De wand in zwart eiken met ‘irregular lines’ versterkt het krachtige lijnenspel.
Showpiece: the floating steel staircase with a Mortex finish. The black oak wall with ‘irregular lines’ enhances the bold geometry.
Keuken, haard en maatwerk vormen één geheel. Aluminium jaloezieën zorgen voor lichtregeling met een industriële touch.
Kitchen, fireplace, and bespoke elements form a cohesive whole. Aluminum blinds add light control with an industrial edge.
De zithoek combineert Flexform-meubilair met warme materialen, maatwerk afwerkingen in Mortex en zwart eiken, en kunst van Robbert Fortgens. Functioneel en intiem.
